2022 Negroamaro

The Negroamaro grape varietal hails from Apulia in southern Italy, our fruit is locally sourced from the Box Grove Vineyard near the Nagambie Lakes in Central Victoria. By utilising 100% Carbonic Maceration in a sealed tank for 3 weeks, followed by gentle pressing straight to barrel and maturation in seasoned French Oak for 10 months, we have produced a dangerously drinkable light red showing notes of bubble-gum, cinnamon and vanilla on the nose, stalky tannins and a dry finish. We recommend serving lightly chilled in summer as a refreshing Rosé alternative.
